The Tools<\/strong> submenu on the main menu provides the following options:<\/p>\n\n

Tools menu items<\/h2>\n\n

Commander<\/h3>\n\n

  • Commander<\/strong> (Ctrl+Enter<\/em>) – choose a SuperMemo command to execute<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    Workload<\/h3>\n\n
      \n
    • Workload<\/strong> (Ctrl+W<\/em>) – the daily and the monthly calendar of repetitions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

      Sleep Chart<\/h3>\n\n
        \n
      • Sleep Chart<\/strong> (F12<\/em>) – record of repetition and\/or sleep blocks that will help you see your timing pattern in learning and sleeping<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

        Plan<\/h3>\n\n
          \n
        • Plan<\/strong> (Ctrl+P<\/em>) – a schedule manager that will help you plan your time by adjusting proportions of time you spend on individual activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

          Mercy<\/h3>\n\n
            \n
          • Mercy<\/strong> (Shift+Alt+M<\/em>) – a dialog box that makes it possible to reschedule repetitions (e.g. before or after a holiday break). Use Mercy<\/strong> only if you want to redistribute the outstanding material in a selected period of time. If you cannot cope with material overload, you should rather use Postpone<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

            Tasklist<\/h3>\n\n
              \n
            • Tasklist<\/strong> (F4<\/em>) – a tasklist manager to sort or edit the current tasklist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

              Statistics<\/h3>\n\n
                \n
              • Statistics<\/strong>\n
                  \n
                • Statistics<\/strong> – a window with the main statistics of the learning process<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Element data<\/strong> – a window with the statistics related to the current element. This window also displays the repetition statistics after a repetition<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Analysis<\/strong> (Shift+Alt+A<\/em>) – a dialog box with various statistics related to the learning process and the SuperMemo Algorithm<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Simulation<\/strong> – a dialog box that makes it possible to simulate the course of learning over many years using real data collected during repetitions (see: Theoretical aspects of SuperMemo). Please note that for a low value of the forgetting index, the simulation procedure may be inaccurate (see: FAQ)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Report<\/strong> – generate a text file with statistics displayed in the statistics window<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Reset parameters<\/strong>\n
                    \n
                  • Forgetting index record<\/strong> – reset the record of repetition grades used in computing the measured forgetting index<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Forgetting index vs priority record<\/strong> – reset the record of the forgetting index measured for different priority categories (as visible in Tools : Statistics : Analysis : Graphs : Forgetting Index vs. Priority<\/strong>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • First grade vs A-Factor record<\/strong> – reset the record of the correlation between between first grades and A-Factors<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Average response time<\/strong> – reset the record of the average time it takes to respond to questions in your collection<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Optimization matrices<\/strong> – reset the optimization matrices used in the learning process (RF, OF, repetition cases, forgetting curves, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

                          • Dismissed<\/strong> – run a random test on dismissed elements<\/li>\n\n\n\n

                          • Items<\/strong> – run a random test on items<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                          • Filter<\/strong> – use element filter and run a random test on a subset of filtered elements<\/li>\n\n\n\n

                          • Subset<\/strong> – run a random test on a selected element subset<\/li>\n\n\n\n
