Since 1991, SuperMemo has been a world leader in spaced repetition R&D. We make this innovative method accessible to self-learners, companies, and schools through the SuperMemo e-learning ecosystem. In parallel, our work with AI technologies in building MemoChat has given us substantial expertise in AI agent architecture and integrating AI APIs focused on speech, language, inference, and translation. Additionally, in collaboration with a medical publisher, we have co-created an effective RAG-based search and content creation system.

SuperMemo e-learning ecosystem
Our catalogue contains 300 courses for self-learners to study 25 languages online and in the SuperMemo app, anytime, anywhere. Our services include providing ready-made SuperMemo courses, and making our partners’ content available in SuperMemo. In addition, we supplement access to the learning resources with study reportsand statistics in both models of cooperation.
Method of spaced repetition
We support learning with our proprietary algorithm of spaced repetition, created by Dr. Piotr Woźniak and based on scientific research. As the algorithm plans repetition at specific intervals separately for each user, it ensures an individualised process of learning with the best possible effectiveness.
Furthermore, we will soon make the SuperMemo’s spaced repetition API – world’s #1 SR algorithm – available for you to implement in your app. Be first to employ our services, incl. the SuperMemo algorithm, in publishing and education!
MemoChat: AI agent architecture
MemoChat takes users on a language challenge to immerse them in a foreign language through interactive dialogues in a role-playing game (RPG) style. As a result of applying the generative AI agent architecture, MemoChat combines the main prompt with supplementary prompts that provide translations, suggestions, corrections and evaluation.
Combination of APIs
In SuperMemo, we merge GPT, text-to-speech and speech-to-text APIs for users to be able to engage in an active, voice-controlled conversation. What is more, an upcoming update will include real-time avatars to further increase the interactive experience.
RAG search and content creation
We employ retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) in projects where our customers have at their disposal extensive resources beyond the GPT repository. For example, our services are currently used to develop a tool for state specialization exams (PES) in cooperation with Polish Scientific Publishers (PWN/PZWL). It will be published in Medico, the first Polish AI-equipped platform for doctors.
